If you spend time in the cannabis community, you are bound to cross paths with people who don’t drink alcohol or tend to avoid it.

While the reasons for eschewing alcohol will vary depending on the individual, cannabis has become a healthier alternative for many.

The current state of cannabis legalization has thankfully provided alcohol abstainers with plenty of delicious alternatives.

One of the newest alternatives comes from the 66° Beverage Company.

On Wednesday, 66° announced that its first-to-market dealcoholized cannabidiol-infused (CBD) wine is in production.

Health Advance Inc. is producing the beverage, which 66° says is a force to be reckoned with in the adult beverage industry.

“Each 66° Beverage comes from the highest quality non-GMO grapes from California, and comes in a variety of great-tasting flavors that can tickle the fancy of any wine connoisseur’s palate,” states a 66° Beverages press release. “Presently, they have dealcoholized red wine, white wine, and rosé, each with its own unique profile.”

66° says it has discovered a method for creating a cannabinoid-infused wine beverage that is alcohol-free and not milky.

The new wine beverages each contain 25mg of broad spectrum CBD.

According to 66°, its formulation allows consumers to feel the effects within ten to twenty minutes after consumption.

Along with a zero alcohol content, the new drinks have lower calories, sugar, and carbohydrates.

Cans of the new 66° wine beverages are available on the company website for $8.99 each.
