E-commerce and online cannabis marketplace provider Jane Technologies has launched a new app on iOS.

Jane says the app, which it calls first-of-its-kind, brings the modern retail experience to cannabis.

The app allows users to find cannabis products by local inventory, effects, recommendations, and verified reviews.

The app’s personalization feature can recommend brands and products based on reviews, activity, and interests.

The app also has Collections, a catalog of curated lists for everything from sleeping to socializing.

Users can shop store menus in real time through the Jane app and schedule deliveries and store pickups.

Jane Technologies CEO Socrates Rosenfield says the cannabis industry is in an exciting time.

“With the Jane app, we’re bringing a seamless shopping experience to cannabis and creating a platform to further connect our community,” says Rosenfield. “The app provides consumers with a personalized, trusted shopping experience while continuing to empower our local retail partners to grow their businesses.”

Shopping Benefits for Consumers and Retailers

In addition to providing consumers with an innovative way to shop for cannabis products, the new app also benefits retailers.

The app allows cannabis retailers to customize store pages and manage storefronts from within the app.

Jane Technologies says the app provides online shopping convenience and drives more traffic to stores at no additional cost to customers or retailers.

“The (app) design celebrates cannabis products, brands, and retailers while optimizing the shopping experience and prioritizing customer needs with Collections and effect-based shopping,” says Jane Technologies VP of Design Jared Marr. “The consumer-first UI is simple yet efficient, reframing cannabis shopping to be approachable and common like ordering lunch delivery or pickup.”

Marr says the app allows Jane to encourage mainstream access and help guide the cannabis industry into the future as a hub for consumers, retailers, and brands.

According to the company, the Jane app is a new way to reach customers directly with content, products, availability information, and exclusive deals.

Brands can also partner with Jane to sponsor relevant areas within the app to increase their reach.

While providing a connection between retailers and consumers, the Jane app also has benefits for cannabis prisoners.

For every user who installs the app and makes a purchase, Jane will donate $1 to the Last Prisoner Project.
