As spring prepares to make its grand 2025 entrance, the Farmers Cup is getting ready for a monumental occasion in thee North County area of San Diego.

Until now, Farmers Cup events have taken place at a variety of private venues, from Bonsall’s Fire Garden to the Four Points Sheraton in San Diego.

But this weekend, the Farmers Cup will make its public space debut at one of Vista’s most celebrated and beloved spots.

On Saturday, March 25 the Farmers Cup will hold the Harvest Edition Awards Sesh at the Moonlight Amphitheater, which sits snugly within the lush landscape of Vista’s Brengle Terrace Park.

It’s Official

The cannabinoid-packed event goes from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and is the first licensed cannabis event in San Diego County.

The weekend event is happening with the full blessing of the City of Vista, a leader in the San Diego retail cannabis industry.

When Vista residents passed Measure Z in 2018, they opened the door for retail cannabis sales through licensed dispensaries.

Attendees to the Farmers Cup event can take full advantage of Proposition Z with The Cake House providing licensed dispensary sales onsite.

But attendees won’t have to wait until they get home to try their purchases as onsite consumption will be permitted at the Awards Sesh.

In addition to cannabis products, attendees can look forward to a variety of product vendors, food, activities, and entertainment.

More than fifty brands will be representing at the event, and there will even be a munchie competition where attendees can sample and vote on participating food vendor samples.

Awards & Entertainment

The main focus of the day, of course, is the awards ceremony where the industry’s best are recognized for their product excellence.

The Farmers Cup will award trophies to winners in categories like best flavor, aroma, effects, packaging, and more.

When it comes to entertainment, Farmers Cup events always feature a roster of talented performers, and Saturday’s lineup is no exception.

Among the artists taking the Moonlight Amphitheater stage will be Luniz, Peter Dante, Soul Spittaz, and Lea Love.

Headlining the day’s entertainment on the main stage will be hip-hop heavy-hitter and Cookies cannabis brand owner Berner.

The event is for adults over 21, no exceptions.
