Ayr Wellness’ Florida dispensaries and employees are safe following Hurricane Ian.

Today, Ayr reported that 47 of its 51 stores are open, and the Bonita Springs store will reopen on Friday, October 8.

To guarantee that medical cannabis patients have access to medicine, Ayr is actively working to reopen its dispensaries in Cape Coral, Port Charlotte, and Sebring.

Ayr says it will reopen the stores when it is safe and compliant.

“Following Hurricane Ian, we are pleased that all our Florida-based employees are safe,” says Ayr Founder Jonathon Sandelman. “Additionally, our team on the ground in Florida did a great job preparing for the storm and securing our facilities. We also sustained no damage to our Gainesville cultivation campus, and harvests and products remain on schedule.”

Ayr recently celebrated its opening of more than 50 stores in Florida, unveiling HAZE, its new line of live resin concentrates and vapes.

According to Ayr, HAZE products have a rapid onset time and deliver a full-sensory experience.

HAZE strains, which Ayr offers in live resin cartridges, live badder, and live sugar, include WAP #27, Caesar, Mr. Nasty, and Ruby Slippers.

Sandelman says Ayr has carefully crafted a range of products that appeal to a wide array of consumers, offering quality items for all budgets.

“HAZE represents a premium experience at an attractive price point,” says Sandelman. “Enabled by the cultivation and production improvements since we took over the Liberty Health Sciences’ Gainesville facility last year.”
