An American cannabis merchant and brand software platform provider has launched a new Shopify app for CBD and hemp retailers.

This week, Boca Raton, Florida-based springbig announced the launch of its new app, which it says will allow hemp and cannabidiol (CBD) product retailers to offer seamless loyalty programs.

Springbig says the app also offers a variety of digital communication features and options for a higher number of online and in-store shoppers.

Springbig CEO Jeffrey Harris says the company is thrilled to offer the first loyalty app specifically serving CBD and cannabis brands.

“Our latest integration will simplify the process of creating and managing a robust customer loyalty program to ensure a smooth retail experience,” says Harris. “We are always working to improve cannabis and CBD shopping experiences across North America, and this partnership moves us closer to achieving our ultimate goal.”

Shopify allows hemp and CBD product sales that comply with company policies and local and national laws and regulations.

To qualify, CBD and hemp retailers must submit an Attestation for the Sale of Hemp and Hemp Derived Products.

The Attestation ensures that qualifying items fall under the 0.3 percent THC limit required for hemp and CBD products.

Canadian merchants must have a federal or provincial cannabis seller’s license and use ShopifyPlus.

According to springbig, the Shopify integration will streamline loyalty program logistics through a seamless enrollment process and a full suite of promotional features.

Springbig says its new Shopify app demonstrates its commitment to being the leading cannabis marketing software provider.
