Nearly four months after commencing adult-use sales, Connecticut has approved its first cannabis delivery service for consumers.

Green Coach Delivery (GCD) announced on Thursday that it had received approval to serve medical and adult-use customers in the state.

Green Coach Delivery will has obtained the first adult-use delivery license in Connecticut.

GCD says they provide white glove service and timely deliveries for their customers.

But besides its delivery service, GCD operates with the community in mind.

Service with Purpose

The company says Founder Jack Cochran has dedicated his life to helping young people reach their potential in academics and athletics.

A coach and mentor, Cochran has more than 25 years of experience working with youths.

GCD says Cochran actively supports underprivileged communitiesreflected by the company’s mission of providing quality services and community contributions.

In addition to community betterment efforts, GCD aims to positively impact Connecticut’s legal cannabis industry.

Cochran says the company is excited to be the state’s first cannabis delivery service.

“Out team is committed to providing fast and efficient deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of social responsibility,” says Cochran. “We believe that our preferential hiring process, community service initiatives, and direct donations to nonprofit organizations will help us achieve our goal of making a positive impact on our community.”

GCD will serve adult customers with deliveries from area shops like Curaleaf, Fine Fettle, and Still River Wellness.

The company will also provide cannabis delivery to customers of Higher Collective shops, which GCD says will open soon.

To start, GCD will make deliveries in Hartford County, with Fairfield, New London, Litchfield, Windham, and New Haven to follow.

Higher Collective CEO Patrik says they are pleased to be working with such a positive and active industry role model.

“We are thrilled to have Green Coach Delivery as the first adult-use cannabis delivery service in Connecticut,” says Honsson in a press release. “Jack’s commitment to social responsibility and community service is a model for the industry, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact they will have on our state.”

Starting May 25, customers can place orders from GCD partners on the company website.
