Fluent's THC-infused Agave Nectar.

With the progress that cannabis legalization has made in the United States, consumers can access a wide variety of cannabis products in 2022.

But even with the vast selection of products in the legal market, it’s not all-inclusive yet.

There are still many foods that don’t have an infused version for the cannabis-craving consumer.

Thankfully, some companies have bridged the gap with essential THC-infused products meant for use with non-cannabis items.

One of those items is a natural THC-infused agave nectar from Cansortium’s Fluent company.

Fluent makes its syrups in Natural, Maple, and Caramel varieties with USDA-certified organic agave.

The company uses natural flavorings, and the syrups are vegan, non-GMO, fair trade, gluten-free, and have a low glycemic index.

Fluent uses a traditional infusion method rather than other more-modern techniques like nanoencapsulation.

THC’s onset is slower with traditional methods, but Fluent says the effects are deeper and more prolonged.

Fluent also says its method preserves the richness of the agave flavor.

The company says the hunger for edibles is increasing in the cannabis market, and its agave nectar hits the spot.

“There’s a growing appetite for edibles (no pun-intended), and our agave nectar presents a perfect combination of traits that customers are looking for when it comes to enhancing food or beverages,” says Fluent. “Agave nectar is a fantastic medium as consumers and patients can infuse just about anything they can imagine. If a recipe would normally use agave, honey, sugar, or another sweetener, our nectar will fit perfectly. With the help and vision of our good friends at Smokiez Edibles, we partnered to bring their incredibly delicious agave nectar to our consumers.”

Fluent says depending on dosage, users can expect relaxing, sedating, and pleasant effects, similar to other traditional edibles.

Fluent is currently crafting Sativa, Indica, and Hybrid varieties of its agave nectar for different effects.

The company says the nectar is popular with more-experienced cannabis users because of its high THC content.

Fluent recommends that inexperienced or low-tolerance users start with small amounts and then increase the dosage to find the right balance.

Because you can always eat more, but you can never eat less.

The Fluent agave nectars are available at its dispensaries in Florida and other states from local partners.
