Can you imagine being at a concert for an entire weekend with nothing but good vibes and like-minded people around you?

That is Reggae on The Mountain exactly!

I would not call myself a reggae geek, but I do listen to more reggae than any other genre of music.

My favorite bands would be Spanish speaking reggae.

To name a few favorities, Cultura Profetica, Gondwana, and Brazilian band Natiruts for my generational favorites of music.

Still, I will always love other favorites like Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, Pepper, Rebelution, The Habit, Tribal Seeds, Rawayana, and my recent favorite Vana Liya (playing Friday November 18th).

At the next Reggae on the Mountain, roots reggae bands will pack the event!

Santa Barbara, CA

California again hosts this amazing lineup including Ky Mani Marley, Steel Pulse, and Ziggy Marley as headliners!

Undoubtedly, Don Carlos was another one of my all time favorites!

This concert is expected to attract 3,500-4,000 people per day, and as most ticket buyers know, the 3 day pass is the way to rock it!

You cannot go to a festival with Marleys playing and only see one of them!

Up-and-coming musicians like Boostive, Sensi Trails, DENM, and the often-mentioned-by-me Vana Liya will be dropping into this concert.

These musicians hidden in the smaller text size are absolutely headliners in their own rights!

Live Oak Camp @ROTM

The Live Oak is one of Califirnia’s most premier boutique venues in California.

Obviously, being a camper for this event has more than one benefit to it!

One benefit that might really attract a Reggaenaut like me is that campers can get into the area as early as 11:00 a.m. on November 18.

I loved being backstage at the recent BayFest with Dirty Heads, Tribal Seeds, and Thievery Corporation, so perhaps consider one of the ROTM VIP options.

Happy campers will be able to bring their own food, drinks, and coolers from their camp to the concert.

Family Friendly & More!

This event is open to families, which I love as I am a proud father!

Arts, crafts, yoga, and wellness activities will be going on throughout the weekend.

We Are All One Family

Reggae on the Mountain has been going strong for years; this is actually the 11th anniversary of the event returning to the original venue.

This event encourages a wholesome attitude, with only few rules for safety, and rocks the vibe:

“ROTM is a Family Friendly Camping Event. Have Fun, Stay Hydrated, Keep Respectful of Your Neighbors and Watch Out For One Another. WE ARE ALL ONE FAMILY”

This may be my own geek calling: wholesome fun, support for each other, and unity in empathy for humanity.

I hope Reggae on the Mountain is calling upon your soul too!
