If you’re a longtime cannabis consumer, you’ll undoubtedly be familiar with delivery services in one form or another.

While the legal cannabis industry has paved the way for delivery services to flourish, such businesses aren’t new.

Many people who’ve used cannabis before it was legal in their locale have relied on dealer delivery for their flowers.

Still, cannabis users would travel to the source’s home or a meetup spot to make purchases.

You know, like going to the dispensary.

Thankfully, the states that have eschewed cannabis prohibition have allowed delivery services to spring up and flourish while delivering legal products legally.

Some dispensaries also provide their own delivery services.

A cannabis delivery service launched in Oregon yesterday with the goal of making the process as simple as possible.

Portland-based Weed On Wheels says its goal is to make ordering cannabis products as easy as ordering food from Uber Eats.

“We are thrilled to introduce Weed on Wheels to the people of Oregon,” says the company’s founder. “Our goal is to make it easy for people to access quality cannabis products in a way that is convenient and safe. We believe that cannabis delivery is the future. We want to make sure that everyone has access to the products they need, regardless of their location.”

With a successful Oregon launch this week, Weed on Wheels says it wants to expand its service nationwide.

Weed on Wheels wants to partner every U.S. dispensary that allows cannabis delivery and give customers an extensive product selection.

The company says its platform makes it easy for customers to browse products, place orders, and track deliveries in real-time.

When it comes to deliveries, the company says it is dedicated to driver safety and reliability.

Weed on Wheels says it does rigorous background checks on its drivers and provides them with training to match.

The Weed on Wheels app is available on Android and iOS platforms.
