If you’re looking for a social media platform that doesn’t censor cannabis content, Kaya says “High There.”
Previously a cannabis dating app, High There has relaunched after an overhaul from maker Kaya Now Inc.
Kaya announced the launch this morning, saying the improved version of the app elevates the user experience.
The app’s previous version was geared toward cannabis-friendly dating but now focuses content rather than connections.
Among the new features are live chats in the Rooms section that allow quick user connections and conversations.
There are new Global Stories feature as well, where users can share photos and videos with the global community.
The app also has a new Discover feature that Kaya says customizes users’ feeds based on their likes, dislikes, and interests.
Kaya Chief Content Officer Jamie Solis says the company has worked hard to enhance the app over the past several months.
Solis says the company has focused on achieving parity with leading social media platforms, and is excited to reach a milestone.
“We’ve come a long way from the app’s original version, which focused on cannabis-friendly online dating,” says Solis. “Today, the High There app prioritizes content over connections, providing users with a customized app experience that curates educational media from trusted cannabis news sources and interactive content from leading creator who can use this safe, open platform to grow their following.”
In an online digital world where the majority of social media platforms censor cannabis content, High There does not.
Instead, Kaya says the app promotes cannabis products and encourages related content to improve the industry and amplify the voices within.
The High There app is available on Android and iOS devices.
