As summer nears, the Boston Beer Company, Inc. (BBC) is expanding its TeaPot cannabis beverage line with a new flavor.

BBC started brewing its Samuel Adams beer line in 1984, growing to become a familiar nationwide brand.

The company later added Twisted Tea, Truly Hard Seltzer, Angry Orchard Hard Cider, and other beverages to its portfolio.

In 2021, BBC established a subsidiary in Canada, BBCCC, Inc., as a research and innovation hub for non-alcoholic cannabis beverages.

BBC is one of several alcohol brands, including St. Ides and Pabst, that have ventured into the cannabis beverage space.

In 2022, BBC debuted the first flavor of its Teapot Good Day Iced Tea cannabis beverage line, Lemon Black Tea.

BBC says the flavor balances tea and lemon flavors with the right amount of sweetness.

According to the company, the beverage tastes best when enjoyed super cold on a sunny day in the park.

The beverage featured the iconic Pedro’s Sweet Sativa—a Canadian medical cannabis era strain.

Today, BBC announced the next beverage in its Teapot line, Mango Green Tea, again featuring Pedro’s Sweet Sativa.

Entourage Health Group (EGH) supplies the strain under the Color Cannabis adult-use brand.

EHG also distributes Teapot’s products, which Peak Processing Solutions produces in Windsor, Ontario.

“We are excited to expand the TeaPot line with the introduction of Mango Green Tea,” says BBC Head of Cannabis Paul Weaver. “Our team has worked hard to create an amazingly smooth, lightly sweetened green tea that complements the natural effects of Pedro’s Sweet Sativa. We call it a Good Day Iced Tea, and it pairs perfectly with a relaxing weekend by the lake.”

BBC says Teapot continues demonstrating its expertise in pairing the perfect tea with the perfect strain for special occasions.

Each non-carbonated tea contains 5mg of THC and is formulated to minimize any cannabis taste or aroma.

BBC says the new Mango Green Tea will debut at Ontario, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan shops throughout May.

Currently, the beverages are available online and at select retail outlets.
