Legendary comedians Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong launched the Bowlmates online cannabis community today, to bring together cannabis enthusiasts worldwide.

The new platform, Bowlmates, offers features and resources for cannabis users, including forums, product reviews, and educational content.

According to a press release, the platform provides a safe and inclusive space where cannabis users can connect and share experiences.

With some exceptions, social media companies are not generally very friendly regarding cannabis content.

Posting, sharing, or talking about cannabis can get a user suspended or banned on some sites.

But Bowlmates doesn’t shy away from cannabis content; it expects it.

The website features forums dedicated to different aspects of cannabis culture, including strains, products, and growing techniques.

Bowlmates users can access exclusive content, livestreams, and interact with Cheech and Chong to earn virtual tokens.

Users can exchange tokens for merchandise, memorabilia, and digital events.

Evolving Social Media

“The desire for cannabis enthusiasts to interact in a social environment where they can actually converse with Cheech and Chong is paramount,” says CRO Danny Keith. “Not to mention Ear2Ground’s platform is an unprecedented redesign of social media as we know it.”

Users can also leave product reviews and access educational content to learn more about cannabis’ benefits and effects.

Marin says the new platform with the lifestyle and ideals conveyed through Cheech and Chong material from decades past.

“We have been spreading love and connecting people through our movies, albums, and live shows for decades,” says Marin. “Creating somewhere online where we can continue that mission…it’s been a long time coming, man. It’s true! Finally a place where we can unite on a deeper level with our Bowlmates from around the world more than we ever have before.”

In addition to the community features, the cheechandchong.com online shop features a branded merchandise assortment, including t-shirts, hats, and accessories.

The store also sells a range of cannabis and related products, including rolling papers, pipes, and vaporizers.

Cheech and Chong have advocated for the legalization and responsible use of cannabis for decades.

The duo’s launch of their new online community reinforces their commitment to furthering a positive and inclusive cannabis culture.

The platform aims to be a valuable resource for cannabis users worldwide, and a hub for sharing their passion for the plant.

The launch comes at a time when the cannabis industry is undergoing rapid growth and increased mainstream acceptance.

“With other social media platforms censoring cannabis posts and content,” says CEO Jonathan Black. “It was a time to build our own community that is inclusive for all cannabis enthusiasts and content without the fear of unwanted and improper censorship.”
