Scream, but not too loudly, for ice cream in Last Bite cones.

Happy first day of summer!

It’s one of my favorite days of the year.

Because summer is my favorite season of the year.

The days are longer, the weather is warmer, and everything feels a bit brighter during the season, especially at the start.

When I think of summer, things like beaches, water slides, picnics, and ice cream cones generally come to mind.

Those are just some of my favorite ways to cool off on hot days.

Beaches, air-conditioned malls, and water slides cool my outsides while ice cream cools my insides in the happiest way possible.

Ice cream brings happiness to people worldwide, something San Diego-based Gelato cannabis company understands very well.

Because Gelato is welcoming summer with something that adds a little extra happiness to the traditional ice cream cone.

Last Bite is the Best Bite

Just in time for my favorite season, Gelato’s has debuted its Last Bite cannabis-infused mini sugar cones.

The name comes from what some consider to be one of the cone’s best parts—the chocolate-filled, ice cream-drenched tip.

And in my book, the tips of Gelato’s new sugar cones are better than those of Drumsticks any day.

To me, the infused 10mg of THC makes all the difference in the ice cream world.

Gelato Co-Founder George says his son had the idea for the cones, born from his love of the last bite.

“He always loved that very last bite of an ice cream cone—chocolate at the bottom with drips of melted ice cream,” says Sadler. “Nobody had created an edible like this before so we decided to move forward and create Last Bite.”

Last Bite cones come in Milk Chocolate-Caramel, Cookies and Cream-White Chocolate, and Strawberry-Chocolate varieties.

Three cones options to customize with your favorite frozen flavors.

Bags include ten mini sugar cones, each filled with THC-infused chocolate.

Because the cones are mini-cones, the ice cream or gelato scoops on top will also be miniature.

I recommend using a melon baller to make your tiny dessert rather than an ice cream scoop or a spoon.

If you want to put the cone on the ice cream instead, crush it up, and it becomes a topping.

Either way, you’ll get a delicious THC-infused treat.

Gelato, Mini Sugar Cones, and VR

Gelato sent me a bag of Milk Chocolate-Caramel mini-cones, which I paired with a pint of layered Talenti Salted Caramel Truffle gelato.

There's happiness in this bag.
A delicious summer treat you can eat your way.

I thought gelato was apropos, for obvious reasons, and went with a cone-matching flavor.

Sadler says, during testing, mint and chocolate were among Gelato’s favorite ice cream flavors to pair with Last Bite cones.

With three cone varieties, the pairing possibilities are virtually endless.

I made two cones with the gelato for myself last night before settling into a lengthy VR session.

The gelato, chocolate, and cone flavors blended well, and the cannabis-related effects were pleasant.

Swinging swords hit a little harder, and casting fantasy world spells felt a little more fantastical and magical during that session.

The Last Bite cones are a welcome addition to summer and can elevate your seasonal activities like no other.

So if you want a little extra happiness in your summer ice cream, consider picking up a bag.

And yes, you can scream for them, just not in the dispensary.

Speaking of dispensaries, Last Bite mini-cones are available in Michigan and California, including Gelato’s shop in Lake Elsinore, CA.

Gelato will be celebrating the Last Bite launch with an event at their Lake Elsinore dispensary from 11-5 p.m. on Saturday.
