While seltzer-based beverages have existed for a long time, they’ve had newfound popularity in recent years.

The emergence of White Claw hard seltzers in 2016 spawned a wave of similar beverages from Budweiser and other producers.

But if you like to avoid alcohol yet enjoy cannabis products, Curaleaf has some beverages you may want to try.

Curaleaf’s line of nano THC-infused Endless Coast seltzers, launched in Massachusetts in May, are low calorie, low-sugar, and low-carb.

Curaleaf says the seltzers deliver balanced cannabinoid ratios with naturally-derived fruit extracts and essences.

Using finely-tuned nanotechnology, Curaleaf says the Endless Coast seltzers match the onset times of typical social beverages.

According to Curaleaf, the onset time is approximately 15-30 minutes.

Endless Coast’s current flavor lineup includes Lemon Ginger (2.5mg THC), Orange Mango Jalapeño (5mg THC), Lime (5mg THC), and Grapefruit & Botanicals (2.5mg THC, 2.5mg CBD).

“People love their seltzer, and we’re thrilled to bring Endless Coast, another innovative product featuring nanotechnology and great flavor, to the market, beginning in Massachusetts,” says Curaleaf CEO Matt Darin. “Endless Coast not only speaks to the rising demand for cananbis-infused beverages, but also reimagines how everyday consumers and in particular the ‘canna-curious’ can incorporate cannabis into their lives.”

Trying Endless Coast

I recently received non-infused samples of the four Endless Coast seltzer flavors.

Each flavor was light and refreshing, with a clean finish and little-to-no lingering aftertaste.

The seltzers had a very slight sweetness, though I don’t believe it was from added sugar, just the naturally-derived extracts and essences.

The Grapefruit & Botanicals flavor was a smooth blend of grapefruit and botanical flavors, a bit like a Squirt with a floral garnish.

The Lime flavor had a nice tartness and an incredibly true flavor.

Lemon Ginger was smooth and clean tasting, refreshing from start to finish.

Of all the flavors, I think the Orange Mango Jalapeño would have to be my favorite.

Admittedly, I wasn’t sure how a drink with jalapeño would taste, but I was pleasantly surprised.

I didn’t find the drink spicy, though the jalapeño taste was noticeable and complimented the rich orange and mango flavors very well.

I enjoyed each flavor on its own but I think they would taste great in mocktails as well.

Endless Coast seltzers are available at Curaleaf dispensaries in Oxford, Ware, Hanover, and Provincetown in Massachusetts.
